It has been awhile...

As I sit down to write this post it has been about months since my last. Law school is knd of an all-consuming time, add to that being a dad and husband, and I don't have a lot of time for reflection and writing. I just started an internship with the Claims Bureau of the New York Attorney General's office. It seems like it will be a very exciting and productive internship. I just finished my first week and already have several projects under my belt. This summer I am also working with the Ulster County Democratic Coordinated Campaign. It will be yet another busy summer, but a fun one. Thats all for now, I will check in soon.

This is my first blog

So, I just finished my first legal internship at the New Roosevelt Initiative. I had a great experience and learned a lot about creating policy, and all that goes into a political campaign. I say I just finished, however I plan on continuing to work with them throughout the Fall and hopefully throughout my political carreer. This blog will be about politics and life in the Hudson Valley and beyond. I like music, sports, some television, and politics, and will talk about all of those subjects. If I try a fantastic wine or beer, and feel that I must pass that on, it will be included. I will also talk about my family. I have a wonderful wife named Natalie, and an equally wonderful daughter named Hannah, who is 16 months old. I will leave you this question to ponder until we meet again. Will the Tea Party deliver more for the Democrats or Republicans in the 2010 election cycle?
